Made from Muscat Blanc, Chardonnay and Semillon. Robust fruit flavour and quite strong because of the long, hot summer.

Made from our noble varieties of Riesling, Crouchen, Chardonnay with a little Viognier - luscious and elegant style, complex fruit with the merest hint of wood from the Viognier.

Dorothea White - 2006
RIESLING - 2004 $15.00

A blend of Riesling, Crouchen and Chenin Blanc. Dorothea Mckellar said she loved this country of  "droughts and flooding rain." Our 2006 vintage was greatly reduced by the drought, hence we have blended these varieties together to make a dry white with good depth and concentration of flavours.

Has about 5% Red and White Muscat which we have not included in our Reisling since 1988 as the birds have eaten them. We think this adds extra dimension.

COLOMBARD - 2006
VIOGNIER - 2004 $12.00

The bouquet is very fine with lifted complex, stable, floral aromas. The palate is crisp and austere, a great aperitif with firm tannin.

 

VIOGNIER - 2006
VIOGNIER - 2006 $15.00

Good fruit flavours with subtle and complex oak - once again we fermented only one-third of this vintage in French oak to add complexity to the floral bouquet and peachy character of this variety which we planted here at Romavilla in 1997.

 

 

 SAUVIGNON BLANC - 2006

Medium bodied style, this wine has a typical Sauvignon Blanc acid finish on the palate, with distinct apple and pear flavours.
